Here man dies

L'intenzione del Volo is born above all as a collection, a series of studies that flow into theatrical shows, performed through the precious and vast artistic production of Giorgio Gaber and Sandro Luporini.

Here man dies is the second chapter of this ambitious work, in which, as is easy to guess, we talk about man. In the sense of human being, of person. True. Without masks, without walls, barriers or fictions. Far from the ancient meaning, from that sense of "masked character," "actor," that emerges from the etymology of the word 'persona,' precisely.

We talk about man, we explore, in his most hidden recesses, the human being. A good opportunity to laugh at ourselves, to see ourselves as comical without understanding each other.

The two musicians, with the help of the loop station, manage to recreate a real orchestra, making the arrangements rich and engaging, impeccably accompanying both the songs and the prose pieces. It all becomes a show, theatre in every respect.

The spectator does not attend a concert, but is emotionally caught in the depth of the words, in the perfect union with the music, so as to live a profound, rich, different experience.

One goes from hearty laughter to the deepest bitterness, almost without noticing. It flows. A stream of vivid and intense emotions: one reflects, plays, gets angry, laughs, cries, feels light, feels fear. One thinks.

One looks inside, to know oneself a little.
